Not a big fan of mushies, but these ones are okay raw. The lichen is a bit like eating grass.

Aww, thank you They are rather colourful and I thought the colour combo with the greenish-blue lichen against the rich, earthy brown was quite dramatic. Might just be some silly mushies growing on some rotten wood, but thought this was rather cool.

I actually found out what it was called a few years back, but forgot to make a note of the proper name. It's not toxic to eat, however but the taste leaves a lot to be desired - tastes like mouldy grass. Looks colourful in salads though
