lol, he has a 'thing' for cigarettes. He has a stash, as rats often tend to do... so once he's got the cig lit he can light the "bottle rocket"... and that's when I took the photo. XD

hehe. I love how this came out. Rodent looks so happy and sure of himself that this home-made jet pack is going to help him to fly, like in all those old Popular Science magazine articles about life in the 21st century. And the look of his make-shift jet pack is simply perfect. It's exactly the type of thing he'd try to make. :)

Thanks again for taking this commission and doing such a wonderfully fun job with it.

Now I have to start thinking up the situation for the next ratty relative for the next sketch fest weekend.

I always love to try to give artists some new ideas to try, especially since you said you wanted to do these to help you practice and get better. And what better way than to push yourself with ideas you've never tried before? ;)
