Oh! In case you didn't know. In Magic the Gathering, there are 5 colors. For seven or eight of ten possible two.color combination, there's exists a Sword you can equip to your creatures. They're all named "Sword of X and Y", like Sword of Fire and Ice (Blue and Red), or Sword of Feast and Famine (Black and Green). Each sword gives bonus attack and defense and protection (basically immunity) from the two colors of the Sword. Furthermore, when you deal combat damage with the Sword, it triggers two distinct abilities for each Sword.

So when i saw your Rapier of Friendship and Doom, i immediately thought about these swords! Especially so since the Red and Black Sword, Sword of Sinew and Steel, released not long ago! Check it out: https://scryfall.com/card/mh1/228/s.....inew-and-steel

Oh my flocking god I need those in my commander deck. I run a red/blue artifact deck and those swords would KILL IN IT

Yeah but they're rather expensive! x>
Every deck likes them, since they're artifacts and may even shut down an entire opponent if they colours match

I'm assuming these swords are colorless identity...

Oh yes, absolutely.
But an example: imagine fighting against a Niv-Mizzet,Parun. Having Sword of Body and Mind (iirc) will give you protection from red and blue! The sword become your best friends!

Looks like a Zweihander mixed with a Rapier.
