Here is the other commission that I wanted to get done before Christmas for 
dearc but I got so busy with moving and then Christmas and when I finally had some time off my Painter stopped working and Dearc was nice and found me a working copy and my friend who is good with computers finally got it working after a while thank you much Lauren!! Anyway this was done almost entirely with Painter 11. It is a memorial of a loved one he lost a few years ago so I wanted to make it really good. I hope he likes it lol.

I use various but my favorites are actually oils, airbrush, and chalk. I used the chalk on the tombstone and it gave it a really textured look. I also use the blender a LOT it works SOOOOO much better than the smudge/blur tool in photoshop lol.
One thing that I like to use is if I feel like doing liek detailed water I like to use the Artists brushes and use Van Gogh. It makes for good water and impressionist makes really good splash effect :D Play around with them and see what you like :)
