Alias/Nickname: Fort, Forty (he hates them both)
Species: Rozenich
Age: Human Equivalent 40-ish
Height/Weight: 5 feet 8 inches, 140 lbs.
Gender: Male

Personality:
• Intelligent and sophisticated, at least in Rozenich standards. He can read and write in the kurri language and some others, which is something rozenich are mostly incapable of. He is calm-natured and mostly quiet, not really one for drawing attention to himself. Unfortunately, his intelligence also makes him super pompous and he thinks he's better than everyone. It is not in a mocking way, he won't laugh or boast at thinking he's better: he just is. He will state it as fact and if one tries to argue he will profess they are merely ignorant. If someone manages to debate him long enough, he may grow frustrated and get snappy: literally. Like all Rozenich, he has a "primitive side" and solves problems "the rozenich way" which may be a bite to the face.

• At his core, Forte is a coward. He will try to hide it best he can, but if presented with a fight or flight situation, he will always try to avoid conflict because he knows he does not stand much of a chance. This leads him to being suspicious and sometimes paranoid of others. Not to the point of avoidance, but he certainly will not open up to others unless he grows to trust them.

•This is not to say he will not interact with or be around others, as he is still a socializing creature, much like his species generally is, but he does so mostly out of necessity than desire.

History:
• Forte was born afflicted with "Eversleep" (as named by Rozenich) an autoimmune disease that is typically a death sentence for his kind, a primitive race with meager advances in medicine. Forte was only able to survive to his current age thanks to intervention by the Kurri, the friendly co-inhabitants to his people. However, the disease is incurable and relief only temporary. The damage had been done, and Forte is both considerably smaller and weaker than his species and members of his village. This has caused Forte to be extremely resentful and has built a longing for better things. Physically incapable, he instead chose to use his mind and hopes to one day gather all the information of the world, a dream he knows will never happen as his health continues to deteriorate. He works alongside his "assigned" kurri, whom he pesters to teach him more things and provide him with a gateway to further information.
