Exleston MacThuban truly outdid himself here, and I'm glad he was very interested in the punk scene in America in the late '70s. Which, if things were to magically work out, would be great for my book's sequel, which delves deeply into the punk scene. An old 'friend' of Jackie's, Sam is as ruthless as she is pretty - a scrapper, a shredder, a true loyalist to the punk scene, the epitome of rebellion, of fighting for freedom, of living in the moment. While she and Jackie live almost polar opposite lives, Sam remains still infatuated with the larger coyote, a feeling that isn't entirely reciprocated. Despite that, she remains a steadfast and important figure in Jackie's life, and will play a larger part in the future...
