HA! I'd nearly thought these two forgotten, lost in the sands of time, but I must say, I love seeing some old characters brought back and new life breathed into them, and what life it is! This is adorable.

And on the topic of old characters given new life...not to be a beggar, I'll look forward to whatever you produce, but I kinda hold out hope that one day we'll see more of Hope.

I know it's been a long time (I think it's been about three years since I've drawn them last, and that was for that "character spread" I did?), but these characters were never quite forgotten. They've been kicking around in my head as a "I really need to do more with them," but I honestly wasn't sure people would even like them that much. I am very pleased to have received a huge response to this picture, even just since I posted it last night. I've got at least one more specific idea for a piece of content with them, and I'm sure I'll come up with more in the future.

You'll be pleased to hear that Hope, also, has been in a similar situation: she's never quite been forgotten. I really want to do more with her, and I think she's a very interesting idea. The issue there is I'm not entirely sure what I want to do with her. A lot of what I draw/write could be classified as "slice of life," but I've got this vague idea tickling my brain of using Hope for some kind of sci-fi-ish adventure story. I'm not sure if people would actually be into that, though.
