I've seen the occasional artwork with this but never seen the series myself but it's a cute scene and good to see it inspired you to produce this piece. I really must see if I can find the series online somewhere or otherwise check it out.
Hopefully Sherlock is just smirking at Watson's feet up in the air and not thinking about whether Watson might be deeply relaxed enough he wouldn't suspect Sherlock considering taking advantage to perhaps give him a sneaky tickle or two.

While I was in China, I bought this DVD compilation that had several films by Miyazaki, one of which included an episode from Sherlock Hound, that's how I was introduced to him. ^^
It's really fascinating, and it really goes along with his style too ^^
