So, a little background info before storytime. I originally got into this whole thing because of an artist who drew Cream as a giantess all the time. Time passed, and eventually a story was written based on his works called "Cream's Big Adventure," which maybe I'll post here. I was used as the anonymous recipient, who then sent it to someone else to post. Go figure, an anonymous who wasn't me lol. But that story prompted a lot of giantess Cream fan art, and this is one of them. Here, I shall post the excerpt it's from, at least until I post the whole story. There's no credited author so...public domain? Lol. Enjoy gang.
It was just another regular day in the lab for our favorite twin-tailed supergenius. Tails was busy at work with a brand new project that he hoped would revolutionize the world and bring an end to one of the world’s greatest problems.
He had a welding mask on as he took a soldering iron to the circuits of his newest invention, the flame carefully bringing together the necessary connections to make the device function.
He took a moment to stop and wipe the sweat from his brow, he’d been working all morning on this project since Sonic hadn’t been around lately to keep him company.
He usually only took on these projects when Sonic was absent for an extended period of time, and his imagination tended to drive him to do these sorts of things when he wasn’t around.
“HEY TAILS!”
Of course, there was always that chance he could arrive out of nowhere.
“Sonic!” The fox boy shouted in annoyance. “Haven’t you ever heard of knocking?! You almost made me burn my fur off!”
Sonic rubbed underneath his nose and chuckled a bit. “Sorry little buddy, didn’t mean to scare ya.” He walked over to the fox boy and leaned over him to see. “Whatcha workin’ on?”
Tails smiled in response to that. He always did enjoy talking about his inventions. “It’s my newest project. If it works I could potentially solve world hunger once and for all!”
“Hey that’s great!” Sonic exclaimed before blinking blankly. “So, what’s it supposed to do?”
Tails was about to reply when he heard a knock on the door. “Huh? Who could that be?” Wiping his hands with a somewhat dirty rag, Tails walked over to the door and looked through the peephole. “Huh, didn’t expect them.”
“Who’s ‘them’?” Sonic raised an eyebrow.
Tails opened the door and smirked as he watched Sonic’s eyes grow comically wide in horror.
“AMY?!”
“Well hello there Sonic, fancy meeting you here.” Amy sauntered over to the blue hedgehog who was backing up as she came forward. “Aren’t you glad to see me?”
“Uh yeah, yeah. Nice to see you Ames.” Sonic gulped.
“So what brings you here Amy?” Tails nodded in acknowledgement of his other guest, Cream, and smiled down at her.
“Well, I just happened to be in the neighborhood, and I was thinking we could all take a group trip to Twinkle Park.” She batted her eyelashes at the flustered blue hedgehog. “You know, their cute couples get in free promotion is still active.”
Sonic gulped again and continued to back away. “Sorry Ames, but I was just leaving. Later gang!” Sonic took off like a shot, with Amy trailing behind him crying out to him.
“Come on Sonic! It’ll be fun! SONIC!”
Tails shook his head and chuckled a bit. “Ahh Sonic, you’ll figure it out eventually.” He then turned to his other guest and smiled down at her. “So what can I do for you Cream?”
The young rabbit was standing there with her pet chao, Cheese, hovering closeby. “Well, I came with Amy to see if you and Mr. Sonic wanted to come to Twinkle Park with us, but apparently he doesn’t want to.”
“Yeah, looks that way.” Tails sighed, “Sorry you came all this way for nothing.”
Cream tilted her head to the side. “It’s not for nothing. You’re my friend too! I like being with you.”
Somehow, Tails felt his cheeks grow warm at that. “Heh, thanks.” He put his mask back on to hide his blush and went over to continue working.
Cream walked over to the fox boy and rocked back and forth on her heels as she watched him prepare to work. “What are you working on?” She asked innocently.
Tails turned around and took his mask off, grinning widely. “Well I was gonna tell Sonic before he ran off, but I can tell you.” He got up and gestured dramatically towards his device. “Cream, may I present to you…the Growinator!“
