Some say that it's become all about the clothing, and a desperate way to get attention rather than the lifestyle. They overlook what the clothes are meant to represent, they are a form of self-expression and only a small part of what makes PLUR tick. It's about the music and energy that these events generate, it's not a simple as clothy lewd clothing. We are drawn to these people because they strengthen the influence of PLUR, and share their passion with those around them. From trading kandi, to giving water to a thirsty fellow raver, and just being a friend in general, it's still there, and it doesn't matter how big the scene gets, PLUR is at the core of this subculture.

I was reading an article saying that PLUR as has lost it's meaning and has turned into a fashion statement, which I disagree with. PLUR is still alive in today's modern world. You just gotta look in the right places, and god-forbid, set your cynism aside.
