I decided to do a fanart of Fender, our beloved mascot of Furaffinity in celebration of Furaffinity's 5th anniversary this day. ^\/^.
I find that I did well for a first try, especially since I am generally horrendous at drawing canine faces. I tend to get the muzzle off in some way, and the nose is a pain for me. LOL. ^\/^.
I decided to draw fender in a jersey with 'FUR 4 LIFE' on his fingers such as in the manner of some t-shirts I saw at a adolescent clothing store at the local mall. I find fender in the gangsta style to be cute and funny at the same time. Plus the smile helps too. LOL. ^\/^.
I have him saying 'FA REAL' as in 'Furaffinity Real' and is a play on the slang term 'Fa Real' or 'For Real'. The phrase is in caps because the font I use, which I like to use since it is the 'Beast Wars Font', is always in caps, even when I am not using the caps. As such, Fender is not yelling. LOL. ^\/^.
This would make an interesting t-shirt. LOL. ^\/^.

Thank you very much. I was going for the gangsta look. I was thinking of having him wear one of those four fingered rings with the words on it. I figured it would look too odd and the old 'write on your fingers with pen' look seemed more appropriate. Plus I got lazy and was in a rush to get this done in time for Furaffinity's birthday. LOL. ^\/^.
I agree. And yellow does not bode well for the light background version of this site. LOL. Try the color Peru instead since it is kinda of like yellow and looks well on the dark and light backgrounds. (I got that idea from taking a Integrated Design class at the college of business at my university, LOL). ^\/^.
