so often the answers are there in front of us but we just don't see them because of the blindness we have chosen.

I think the powers that be are sad we are so stubborn in rejecting their blessings.

we choose coldness out of fear.

long ago, I made friends...real friends...on the internet. in time they grew up and went on with their lives. I don't regret the friendship or the loss of it, what I regret is the strange reluctance I have to do it again with someone else.

I tend to keep a little more distance now, to share but not to ask anything in return.

is she the highest god in your pantheon? are there others one can pray too, or is she the one who handles that sort of thing?

In general pagan beliefs there is the Tri-Fold Goddess, and Great Horned God. I often pray in regards to the Goddess, for she is the Mother. Father's are stern and do not understand the ways of love from time to time

I see. so might you pray to the father if you were needing different help? what sort of things would you pray to the father for? help in battle? employment-related things? verility? are my guesses sort of steriotyped? ummm...correction?

it is an interesting question, though.

in my religion there is a Heavenly Mother as well as a Heavenly Father but all prayers are addressed to Heavenly Father, I suppose He is the one accountable for our sojourn on the earth. but being eternal companions, they are in a sense also one being, so perhaps by addressing him we also address her also? I'll have to think about that.

Truly in the end They are one universal spirit. Just giving a deity to each intent. Much like asking parents for help one could think. This is something easier to explain in person, but a literary reference is Green Witchcraft by Anne Moura.
