Even being so sad [and adorable], this pic still can't not have super-awesome coil-position/loop-creation! :D
If you really wanted to make a snake look sad, you'd have to have the coily body totally flat on the ground, which would basically never happen in your work. Or maybe that would make them look dead? D:
