Nayeli at first was curious about her new siblings growing within her mothers swollen belly, but soon jealousy took over, she's been hard on Tadita the past few days about not abandoning them. will this cause Tadita to snap?
Nayeli sulked deeper into the depths of starheim, looking for her mother, her mind racing at the thought of her unborn siblings. What if mom abandons them too, what will they do, I can't care for them? She whined. Pacing a bit before making her way closer to her mother's nesting den, the scowl on her face disappeared as she saw Tadita snuggled up on her mossy bed, sleeping comfortably. I shouldn't wake her up, but I need to know. She sighed, slowly nudging her swollen form. "Mama… wake up, I want to talk to you…" she whimpered nervously, sitting down beside her as she waited for Tadita to stir. "Please, its important, I know you're tired," she sighed, nudging her again, her ears flattening as Tadita let out a groan.
-
Tadita breathed softly as she slept. Her dreams where actually sweet, images of a possible future, with her and Nach snuggled up while a litter of pups suckled softly as her belly, a smile growing on her tired face. But as quickly as it began, a couple nudges and the sound of Nayeli's voice had shaken her dreams, slowly opening her eyes as she let put an uncomfortable groan.
"Mmmm…. Nayeli what is it?" She grumbled groggily, lifting her head to see her daughters nervous expression. "Oh baby… what's wrong?" Tadita whined, slowly pushing herself up to sit beside her, pinching her eyes shut. "Is everything okay, are you hurt?" She tilted her head before sniffing her over curiously, the pregnant shewolf could smell the anxiety radiating off of her.
-
"...Mom, can we go to the shore, I want to talk to you In private, it's important" The large golden shewolf sighed, looking at her siblings as they moved about in her mother's belly. Curiosity growing in her eyes, but a hint of jealousy was hidden within them as well, these pups would be getting the love she so desperately wanted from Tadita since she was a pup herself. I need to make sure… it's for their safety. She sighed, herding her mother to her paws carefully but urgently. "I'm okay mama, I'm just nervous about being a big sister that's all" she nodded, putting out the bait for the start of her conversation.
-
Tadita whimpered nervously she wants to talk to me in private, why? Looking down to her paws she whined, slowly standing as Nayeli pushed her up as if she was being forced to go. Shes still curious maybe?
Though Nayeli's next words confirmed her worries, she was still nervous about her siblings, Tadita let out a nervous whine. Looking back into Nayeli's eyes, curiosity shown in them, but a hint of something else… shes jealous… "okay Nayeli let's go, I can't go far, but we can sit on the beach okay." that was only half true, she was instructed to take it easy on herself, but she also needed to be in earshot of the pack if Nayeli was to snap. I shouldn't be alone with her right now, but Nach is busy. She whimpered, slowly following her daughter to Elska shore. "I know you're nervous, it's always scary to know you have siblings on the way, I was the same way Nayeli… I left my mother and father when she gave birth to my siblings out of jealousy. " she sighed, trying to show she knew how jealous Nayeli was acting right now. The two finally made it to the shore, Tadita sitting down with a grunt as her paws throbbed under her weight. "I know how you feel"
-
"I know mama" she blinked, walking towards the beach slowly, keeping pace as best she could with her mother's waddling gait. It was strange how her body adapted to carrying young, so round and disproportionate. though Tadita's story of when she was younger played out in her mind, sighing a bit. How insecure is she? The large wolf grumbled, looking down at her I'm acting no better though. "Mom, I'm not afraid of them, I'm afraid of you, I don't want to be the one stuck with them if you leave" she squinted, anger rising up in her chest.
"Its still hard, I'm worried for them, you still have no experience being a mother" she admitted, squinting at her, watching Tadita wilt a bit under her gaze. "I don't mean to put you down mom, I'm just scared, I want them to know how it feels to have a good mom, you promise me you wont leave them"
