What are the differences between Illustrator and Photoshop? I remember both being very similar, just by looking at it.

Illustrator uses vector graphics which pretty much means it can be sized up from the sm allst 1 x 1 pixel to something as ridculously almost uncalculabl large res as 1239000 x 1239000 and s forth, it uses mathematical equations to determine the smoothness of the pic going by its size (automatically) so it is infiniately sizale as it keeps its smoothness. However photoshop is similir but diff. It can do large shapes too, but once you make it and down size and resize you will most likely loose quality, hence why you must do things in photoshop either 100% perfect once. Or heaps of times till its right,. But photoshop is still awesome ^^

Oh... I thought Photoshop didn't lose quality when you resize things.... well damn. So Illustrator doesn't suffer that?
