One of the things that people don't realize about Katherine and Sabre is that operating independently of countries comes with it's fair share of issues. While Sabre gets its orders from governments yes, the unit acts under the ICDF, a semi-autonomous organization and the defense force's own agenda does not always align with the secret agendas of it's supporting nations. This means that Katherine often finds herself in varying position, whether working alongside allied forces or in some rarer cases... against them.
But the snow leopard has a job to do.
