Crim the Dog can trace his family line back to the days when disputes were settled with honorable melee combat, and canines and their ilk were not ogled over in zoos. Platypuses didn't even exist back that far. Ancestors on his father's side include the following:
Xarok the Wolf (upper-left), Crim's great-grandfather is his oldest living ancestor. Despite having well over 600 years on his great-grandson, he still wields his axes with a ferocity surpassing the most irate metalhead. His power seems to only be increasing with age - much like that of a vampire or dragon. Inquiries into his possible nature as a vampiredragonwolf have met with little success, and lots of blood.
After one of his many violent raids into the lands of lesser species, while his blood was up, he took his pleasure from a young native dog who was to become Crim's great-grandmother (not pictured). Setting sail at dawn the next day, hulls filled with treasure, he left her with the great shame of rearing a halfbreed on her own.
This bastard boy, whom she named Crom (upper-right), attempted to follow in his sire's footsteps and became a warrior himself - though he never had the skill of his father. After one fateful battle had left him terribly wounded and partially blind in his right eye, he decided to give up the berserker game and became a merchant. Despite his bastard status, he was able to lead a relatively successful life and years later settled down and had children of his own.
One such child, Crum (lower-left) took up the family business as his father retired and heads the company as the C.E.O., though rumors involving his business practices have linked him with the infamous Nightmare Corp™. He disapproves of Crim, as more than once his shenanigans have cost him money and caused him embarrassment.
Crim (lower-right), having wolf blood in his veins, and being descended from a berserker, has many accounts of his bravery in battle on
's page, and we will not go into their detail here.
(Fun fact: the paints used to color Crim's portrait are nearly 100% recycled human waste.)
