(think about your own head and the headache he gave)
What if the rust belt was invaded by evil mythological bastards? (As if it needed more problems...) What if your mom's family made a deal with a war goddess fourteen hundred years ago and now it's being cashed in, thousands of miles away, a day late, and a dollar short? Who picks up the tab on that?
That's basically the premise for the comic I always wanted to do.

I actually drew it like... two years ago? Three? I did like 16 pages of comic for the first "issue", which are not really all that good, and I will probably never post anywhere. I love drawing, but my writing, she is not so good. I'd eventually like to take another crack doing it in like continuous strip format instead of in pages. After a rewrite. And some vodka.
Thanks for the offer. Mostly though, I don't want to burden someone else with my most vain of vanity projects, haha. I also want to get better at writing, and hopefully practicing will help! But! I do appreciate the offer, and I hope you use your free time to write something fun!
Well...since you mention it...

An interesting alternative though is to find a few writers who you like/trust and have offered and simply leave them in advisory/editor role. You write out a chapter or whatever, and let them send back comments suggestions. Often you get some good ones, and at worse, you can just skip over everything that comes back if none of it is to your taste.
When such an arrangement works out well it has a lot of benefits. The original creator (i.e. you) never looses control over her creations (which can happen easily when others are just flat out ghost writing) and yet at the same time (potentially) more good ideas are available for incorporation.
Also it can sometimes be a good way to learn how to write better. The one issue though is you need to find the correct types of writers to get involved. Some people don't take well to their "suggestions" being refused, and these are definitely not the type you wish to associate with for such an arrangement.

ah Legacy heroes, sort of reminds me of Lucy, illegitimate daughter of 2 big name heroes, born with strength enough to smash mountains. She became a hero because of stupid high school riverly put people in danger and she just kept being dragged further because she had the power. she just wants it all gone, the power, the responsibility, she just wants to be normal.
I am such a massive sucker for homegrown superheroes. I played City of Heroes for fours years, coming up with all manner of insane reasons for unlikely heroes to come from unlikely transformations and such. I'd love to wax nostalgic about one of them, and I just might post the commissioned art I received a while back.
Seriously, do more of this and I'll declare you a goddess in my pantheon right next to the guy who composed the music for Gunstar Heroes. If you knew me, you'd know that is mighty praise indeed. *grin*

Damnit, you are fiercesomely productive nowadays, I am such a slacker. Bad news on my new laptop, the screen was broken so I sent it back and it's all sold out so no replacements. So I'm debating whether or not to spend that money on an Intuos tablet instead to boost my confidence in digital doodling. x-)
Cuuute. I love her hairstyle! ^~^ Also, i love that she's not stereotypical skinny hourglass-shaped fur. :D This is amazingly done, i love the feel of the character you've portrayed in this image.. if you ever got down to writing out that comic, i wouldn't mind reading it (bad writing or not teehee.)
