This..... this isn't my usual fare.

This is a gift from my friend Flare. I don't know the artist.

About three months ago, my father unexpectedly passed away. He was fine, as far as we knew, and in the span of two weeks an aggressive cancer took him from playing tennis, laughing, and joking, to lying in a bed in hospice care at home, too weak to talk.

We were close. I cared for him a lot. I'm still devastated by his loss.
