Introducing... Cristalé!
Here we have a new hero, who has appeared in a less than canon-bad-end-story, but is definitely someone I plan on using more.
Her name is Emilie Clovis, a French rabbit from a fairly upper class family back in Europe. Well known as a pop singer who manages to travel around the world, it is also no secret that she moonlights as a superhero.
What's that? No secret identity? Well she feels it only helps her record sales! And it really does, especially having both variants of her costume; one frilly for shows, one sleeker for combat.
But what can a small, lithe, girly rabbit do in combat? Thank you for asking, mysterious person who is on my house!
Emilie is skilled in archery and fencing, as well as a variety of other small hobbies she has picked up. Her real effectiveness lies in what she calls 'phase-shifting'. Or the French equivalent, since her English isn't perfect.
She can take light from the environment and make it into these crystal things. These constructs are pure, condensed energy that can be molded into the shape of really whatever she wants! Swords, bows, her heroic costume, whatever there is enough energy for, she can shape. Of course, it takes time to make them durable and strong, which limits her incredible versatility. When they break, or run out of time, a construct will change back to (unusable) light.
While they can be any color, Emilie far prefers to use amethyst purple coloring. They also leave a beautiful afterglow in the darkness.
To create useful weapons, she has to reinforce each step, building more light into the container. These come in certain levels;
Level 0 is instantly made. These constructs are about the same durability as cheap glass and only last a couple of minutes before fading away with a soft glow.
Level 1 is a standard charge and takes only a moment to create. These are the same as good glass and can take a few hits, but lack too much to make them special. These exist for about 15 minutes.
Level 2 takes about 20 seconds to make and is a more useful combat weapon; sharp and durable beyond most metals, this would be the type that is useful for a sword. Level 2 and above can be partially broken down on command, allowing for stronger and faster movements of whatever tool it is.
Level 3-5 are all varyingly difficult, ending with five taking multiple minutes and significant focus. Though useful, level 3 tends to be her stopping point.
Now she finds herself in Sentinel City, ready to expand her brand. But will she make any good friends? We'll see!
And I got the sketches of Emilie! I hope you guys like her?
Emilie Clovis, Jessica (the cat who will never admit to being her fan), and Stormwave (who doesn't really care for the bun) are all mine
Darkwitt (surprise appearance!) is of course,
