Don't Oompa-Loompa-Doopity-Do That Again!
The online art community loves the idea of cartoon characters turning into blueberries after that scene from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." But they love to remove the context of that scene so that they just randomly turn into blueberries. I remember that scene as "Violet eats a gum that's basically a three-course meal and brings new meaning to the phrase 'you are what you eat.'"
But at the same time, I couldn't help but wonder why you would turn into blueberries when you reach the pie. Well, wonder no more; my possum friend has solved the mystery of this conspicuous gum... the blueberries were a little too ripe. All that juice has to go somewhere, and eating a lot of pie is very unhealthy. I have no idea why your skin would turn bluish-purple, though Then again, all that food is nothing but GMO's and it based on the description Mr. Wonka gives, it should be laid out on a table, not popped into someone's mouth. This was one of many reasons I actually had a fear of gum when I was a kid, next to the belief that it would take years for gum to digest if swallowed.
