New Changes, New Icon!

So, here’s a new icon of me in a big bear form, heheh ^^
As I mentioned in the 500+ watchers pic I posted, there is a small change coming to my account here: ChowderYoshi will no longer be my main sona here on FA. Instead, my sona will now be my character Sonic, who is a still-learning but powerful mage with many different forms besides his human one. This character has always been my main character in the universe I’ve imagined within my head, and I’ve always essentially imagined him to be my sona. This is practically the main reason why I’m finally deciding to fully represent him as me here on FA: while I still like ChowderYoshi, for a long time, I’ve never really imagined him as me, but more as just a character that I’ve been playing the part of. Honestly, because of that, I’ve always just felt a bit, well, weird about it, especially since ChowderYoshi is a character that I see as more of an opposite to me. He’s smug, cocky, and incredibly confident, which are things that I don’;t really attribute to myself. By going away from ChowderYoshi, I feel like I’ll be able to be more “honest” with myself, and I feel I’ll be better off in the long run.
Now note, I’ve decided I’m not going to be getting rid of ChowderYoshi completely. He still holds a place in my heart after all (and my account will still be named after him, essentially). So, I’ve decided to make ChowderYoshi into an alternate reality version of my sona, Sonic. In his alternate reality, fate played out differently, and this AU Sonic decided to forever change who he was by living a relaxed life, with a changed name, and a new yoshi base-form. By making this change to ChowderYoshi, he is still me in a way, while being a completely different character. Also, yes, I’m partially doing this because ChowderYoshi has always looked very similar to Sonic in regards to the hair and the little goatee/beard/whatever.
But yeah, that’s my reasoning and explanation for this change here on my account. It’s probably not a big deal to too many people, but I still thought I should explain myself in case anyone became confused ^^;
But anyway, thank you all again for 500+ watchers! It means so much, and I hope I can continue to grow here and meet so many more people! :D

As a side-note, while I am happy with this icon, I feel like I could do a bit better with it, so most likely, I may change my icon again within the next few months. We’ll see! Oh, and with this sona change, I probably will have to make a reference sheet of some sort. Hooray, more to add to my list projects! (bleh <:p)
