Halloween was always a fun time for the dynamic duo that was Amy Rose and Cream the Rabbit. They would get dressed up in costumes and go out trick-or-treating every year, and then they'd check out a haunted house to end the night. Some of them were more funny than scary, but they were always fun no matter what.

There was one thing different about this year though...Cream had undergone a growth spurt...a really, really, REALLY big growth spurt.

An accident while fighting against Eggman had left the rabbit girl much, much larger than she was supposed to be. Though getting home afterwards was no problem, Cream took the experience in stride and carried everyone back to safe territory after the battle was over. Her increased size also came in handy during the battle. After growing to about 40 feet tall, Cream was able to take out a lot more robots than before.

Of course, they were strapped for a way to shrink Cream back to normal size, so she had to figure out how to cope. There were some struggles to be sure, but in time Cream came to like her new size. Being bigger came with a lot of perks, and getting around was a lot faster than it used to be. There was a brief moment where Cream thought she would have to give up on her Halloween tradition, there were no costumes big enough for her anywhere...but that's when her mom came through for her, presenting a schoolgirl costume that was perfect for her size.

The hug she gave Vanilla after trying it on enveloped Vanilla's entire body at once.

The trick-or-treating was interesting. People seemed more scared of Cream than Amy, who was wrapped up in bandages as a mummy. Cream figured they were screaming because Amy's costume was just that scary, and the amount of candy they got was more than usual, which she didn't mind. Once they called it a night for candy hunting, the two girls made their way to this year's haunted house. A trio of ghosts stood in front of the dark building, waiting to do their shtick for anyone who passed by.

"Amy, let's go see what this one's all about!"

"This is gonna be tough for you Cream." Amy said with a raised eyebrow. "You're a little too big to just walk through it."

"I'll just crawl through it, I'm real good at scrunching small thanks to spin-dashing!"

Amy rolled her eyes and grumbled to herself. "The one thing I could never get the hang of."

As they approached the haunted house, Cream walking slowly so as not to leave Amy behind, Cream's excitement started to match her size. She'd been looking forward to this all year. Finally, once they reached the entrance, Cream looked down at the three ghosts, whose chattering immediately ceased upon her approach. "Hi there! Can we go through your haunted house?" For a moment, there was silence, then the three ghosts ran off into the distance, screaming in terror, much to Cream's confusion. "I thought the haunted house was meant to scare ME. Why are THEY running?"

Amy looked up at her giant friend and then watched the retreating figures disappear into the distance. Cream really had no clue why they were scared. The sight of a 40-foot tall bunny girl, Amy guessed Cream thought was normal. She rolled her eyes and puffed her cheeks slightly before answering. "It's a mystery."
