Player/FBI Agent: yup... new character is just a rogue who sees this, and not wanting to anger either the mob or the FBI, they just leave them alone, and hide. *Gets nat one on leaving them alone and hiding*
DM: they all see you, as you throw an incendiary grenade into the middle of it. roll to hit
Player/Rogue: ... nat 20
DM you kill them all,and the next day, the FBI and another angry mob are knocking down your door. just roll up yet another character

thats how I DM . nat 20s can be bad, and nat 1s are worse
