And the final entry in my tribute to the artists who performed at Woodstock 50 years ago - it's been so much fun trying to nail their personalities and performing styles in anthro form.
Grace Slick - Jefferson Airplane's lead singer is a lot tougher and more fiery than her voice, or her anthro form would suggest. But of course she HAD to be a rabbit, just by virtue of that one song.
Joe Cocker - Of course he had to be a bear - just imagine that deep, rumbling growl of his coming out of a bear's chest.
Johnny & Edgar Winter - I just loved the idea of these two albino musician brothers as a pair of white wolves.
Crosby Stills & Nash - Stephen Stills was originally going to be a buffalo, as a reference to Buffalo Springfield, but it just didn't look like him. So I made him a bighorn instead. That's David Crosby as a badger, and Graham Nash as a fox. Oh and Neil Young was also there, but he chose not to be in the film, so I didn’t include him.
Jimi Hendrix - The final performer at Woodstock, and tragically one of his last great gigs. He had to be something awe-inspiring, and I think the tiger suits him best.
Of course there were a lot of other great performers there, some of whom aren't well-known enough - Bert Sommer, Tim Hardin, Melanie, Mountain, Canned Heat, Blood Sweat & Tears, Sha Na Na... but maybe I'll get to them another time.
Peace and Love, this has been fun!
