What they need is an episode where Dylan and the pups try to help him get over his worries by staging a fake apocalypse. They stick pictures over all the windows so it looks like a giant meteor is heading towards Earth, they get him to hide in a box then push it down the stairs. Afterwards everyone pretends the the end is over and thanks to him they all survived and he doesn't have to worry about any more disasters. He finds out, but appreciates the effort.

Maybe I'd omit the part in where he's pushed down the stairs

In a BOX. Probably padded. I mean it's not like Dylan hasn't suffered worse. They'd need SOME big,loud scene to sell the apocalypse to him.
