The black represents the deep dark Erde, the white the Sacred Sky, purple profane material temptations in which we cloak ourselves; her crown bears a scarab holding a pearl of what the wolves call 'white-imperium', but the hyenas call the tears of the sky. It's a substance so sacred to hyenas only royalty may even look upon it. It's there as a reminder that nobody may look on Arjana's face, except her sacred cubs, her Prince consort or those she grants permission.
