Another Commission piece for  sarcosis_machina

The stone bares a nice smokey clarity hinted by a light purple hue, sadly i could not get a close enough to show off its look, but what i found interesting is how after i wrapped the stone in some NTB Gold Dyed copper wire it seemed to take on that wires coloring.

aside from that i like how the stone sat upon one of my Amethyst clusters so why not a shot of the piece in my work station. nothing major, but you may see a glimpse of my lil Dragoness friend who watches over my station and one of my Bloodstones, she makes for great conversation <laughs)


*STONE NOTES*
Ahh Amethyst, a very popular and recognizable stone with a history going back 5000 years and more. Widely agreed to be a stone of peace, Amethyst is said to bare no negative side effects or hold any sociations with violence, anger or passion, but a stone of spirituality and contentment.

From that Amethyst is a wonderful stone to use in meditation conduction energy of calm and peacefulness to help one enter and maintain the meditative state.

this particular stone is said to bare strong protective qualities for ones mental and spiritual status. capable of stabilizing ones mental state by bringing calmness and clarity where there is anxiety and confusion. Many are said to believe the stone lends courage to its wearer protection and granting emotional calm in the face of harm sickness stress and anger.

this is but a fraction of the wonderful Qualities Amethysts bares. one notable quality about this stone is the name is an old Greek term for "not Drunken" and associates this stone with aiding in preventing intoxication and substance abuse...though I still wouldn't go out on any binges or reckless driving under that notion.

upon further examination and study seems to be fused with smokey quartz. now sadly i could not get a close enough photo with enough quality to really show you the Shimmering Fire that the stones inner facets expel.

Smokey Quartz is one of the most grounding and clearing stones available, it provides as a protective stone by encompassing a barrier of energy around the individual and provides protection from any detrimental forces present in the ethereal realm, it activates survival instincts and acts to improve one’s intuition in matters of responsibilities and in those activities that would be considered challenging.

so a combination of these two makes this a very valuable and powerful stone indeed
