Let me take you back to when I was 7 years old. I got to play WarCraft II the Tides of Darkness on my uncle's PC, and it wasn't just a game. It was an experience. From that day I was a WarCraft fan.
It was 2002 when I got to play WarCraft III... the best game ever made and to this day the only game I play on rare occasions of being too tired to work.
Along with the worlds of StarCraft and Diablo, I've been following the work of the Blizzard team since my early childhood.
This company is and forever will be my biggest source of inspiration.
Being a self-though artists, coming from nothing, living in a country with very few opportunities, I never thought I'll see a day when a member of the Blizzard team will notice my work, hire me privately and give me all the things I need to complete my biggest painting ever. And I never expected that my painting will one day be brought to the Blizzard offices and stay there. And of course I never expected to be surprised by a signed print from the wonderful Blizzard peoples.
I never expected to make it this far because at times, it was really hard.
And now, happy and inspired, I'm going back to work to get to my next best day of my life...
And you all who support me here, you made a huge difference when I needed to know that I have people behind me when I really doubted in my chances of seeing a day like this.

I've been trying for years to achieve what you have. It's been a long, dark road, and the end is nowhere near my sight, but I gotta remain optimistic. And part of that is being happy for those who have made it!

Again, this is not Blizzard officially, but having my work there is like being there myself. All of me went into that painting...
And I so hope you get there soon too! I believe passion and dedication always pays off in this work. It has too, because it's so honest, people just have to notice it.

Thank you. 💖 Being a traditional artist doesn't really get you noticed much these days, because we typically work slower than digital artists... at least, I do. I'm honestly grateful I can draw at all, what with my body falling apart from my autoimmune disease. Ah, well. You should be very proud of this accomplishment. 💖
I will always have a soft spot for World of Warcraft - the lore/world was very immersive for me.

Maybe Blizzard will officially take me in one day. Maybe... But to have people there know and respect my work, to have the fans of that world recognize everything they love about Blizzard in my work too, that's almost better than the job in a way. It's more personal, and special...

This is absolutely incredible. Blizzard's art team has been dishing out top-notch and cutting edge design for decades -- even while some of their games have sometimes dwindled mechanically. You deserve all the respect and recognition. You'd be a great fit at Blizzard. I hope I get to see and interact with your designs in a Blizzard game someday, whether it be WoW or whatever games the future holds.
