I'm letting myself fall a little behind on Smaugust so I can catch up on some housework/errands, but I couldn't help but share that I won my very first art contest!

Our challenge was to design a creature inspired by an element on the periodic table, and I chose to do Neon. The competition was pretty stiff, and I loved and admired all the other entries. I have to say I'm very proud :)

The prize is a work of art by the host who is a wonderful digital painter, and I can't wait to see what she comes up with!
