Character-based story, "Anatomy of a Superhero, Part 2"
I wanted to write a more character-based story, about how my superhero team interacts with one another. This story focuses on Remi “Dammage” Vitoux (beaver, M,) when he was first learning to be a superhero. Basically, the idea is to parallel a problem with Remi's civilian art training with one in his superhero training.

Superheroes-in-training Remi and Nunzio have never faced a real opponent, so they're going to fight super-mercenary “Boxin'” Roxie Roolan in the ring. Remi is also struggling with his artistic confidence after a rejection by condescending art club president Piers Yerflander, who insists there's only one path to becoming a proper artist.
At one point, this was going to continue into a plotline in which supervillains Hive Queen and Black Mark escape from their holding cells and run amok in the superhero base, but I've decided to save that for a later story.
