Great way of showing the many facets of these characters, Dai. I was initially lead to believe that Peki was the heel behind this portion of the tale, when now it appears Adel is the real ass!

Sure everyone seems to have had their ups and downs, but Adel snubbing Peki like that... That was uncalled for and just too much!

Wow!! That's quite a powerful punch in the face Peki threw there. Backed up by lots of years of being hurt, getting no respect and no sympathy in a crumbling friendship.

Like this arc for this reason. It shown how Adel changed with the fame and success, caring about them way more than her teammate, perhaps due her inner insecurities(i am not as prett and nice as other combagals everythin can be lost quickly), while Peki did not voiced her issues in any way, even if they were obvious...letting things rot inside...is real tragic story here!

It's rather awful how over time being famous and on top of the world can corrupt certain people and make them become uncaring to what or who is more important than success and fame. Adel shoved her partner away when she needed support and care and the dog is paying for it as a result.

Also,.Peki should've prooooobably said something instead of letting these emotions boil-up for a decade. Communication exists for a reason!

Also Peki punch was loaded years ago....and we see that her "betrayla" had soem reason behind...a weakness that a vicious bastard like Shun can exploit...

I can seeing why Shun made his Cyclone Crushers lay low and watch. Peki is able to fight back at Adel. he must do doubt be familiar with Peki's fighting the pain and learned about the loss of dignity she suffered from Adel and Dinedon. It is being used as a driving point to turn agaisnt Adel and possibly defeat the Major. In a way Adel betrayed Peki first before she betrayed her.

Pent up resentment and lack of communication can destroy a relationship. Peki couldn't voice her feelings, not even now, and Adelgund was too absorbed in fame and glory to realize how much she was hurting Peki. You can see with how aggressively Peki punches Adelgund how much negativity she's been harboring for years.
