I take sketch notes during sermons because a turn of phrase will inspire some sort of image. I end up drawing a lot of wolves and birds with bad anatomy.

I used to do the same thing when I was in foster care and went to the chruch the grouphome had chosen for us. They used to get so mad about it, but I remembered it much better that night when we had our reviews of what we learned when I had drawings.

Reminds me of when my grandparents would take me and my sister/cousins to church and give us a pen and paper so we could doodle it up during the sermon. We would even collab xD I miss that. Even though I'm not very religious anymore I enjoy the fact that it's such an inspiration to you and I'm glad you didnt crop out your musings |D
