I'm assuming it's wild animals (wolves, tigers, Wildcats, penguins, etc) vs domesticated animals (dogs, cats, bunnies, etc.).

Or any race outside the "majority" inside a city/nation

I can't help but imagine a non-canon one off of the situation reversed. Adel in the prison uniform and chains and Peki being the warden. What a difference that would make. O.O

OK, I am beginning to feel bad for Peki. This was all her Manager's fault. He made a bad call and ruined Peki's career.

Not to mention her dignity and public image.

They actually played into the hate... And seemed to add to the hate Peki got.

Like I said in the last page, what really matters is how Adel treated her outside the ring. Like if she only ever treated her badly when they were performing and treated her with respect and friendship outside of the ring, then I really think Peki was in the wrong with her betrayal.

Yes and not. She did not betray Adel, not completely, she left her, is different. She thought she had no choice considering that she was forced to paly an humiliating role n perosnal and racial level. She did not do this lightly, as her expression during the meeing with cookie suggest, butit was sometting she felt she had to do. What options were left to her? Leaving Combagal business?

Rebranding herself? It's not like this was her only choice. No one was forcing her to play that role.

Sometimes people can feel trapped and pressured into certain choices. Granted, I do think you're right in that Peki always had a choice in this scenario. Not an easy choice, but a choice nontheless.

Peki strikes me as someone who doesn't speak out a lot about what's bugging her, but, at least before, tried to spread positivity where she could. Maybe something will slap me in the face later, but that's the vibe I'm getting.

Peki might be in the wrong, but it's an understandable choice given her character and the circumstances. That's honestly what makes it so painful.

I hope there's an explanation for this sudden public uprising in "specism".

Wow, this sure explains a lot. Adelgund should have taken Peki's feelings more into consideration... or at least kept her word... Especially after all the help she gave her.

Aw, Adel is sort of like Muko. They both tend to be so thick and dense in their heads, but are both good in heart.

Again, I do not approve of what Peki did in the present, but how she was treated was likewise terrible and very degrading. She is so hurt and miserable.

Ouch summa the dialog from the spectators sounds like summa the harsh comments from the readers about Nyarai and Peki. And then of course, a lotta the bigotry is certainly mimicking current events internationally. In the end we wont remember the harsh words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends... Or in this case, the facilitation of injustice from Adel.

To be fair, we were harsh on Peki and Nyarai based alone on the actual bad stuff they were doing for real to Adel, Cookie and Muko in the present, though.

But anyway, yeah poor Peki. Her public image with the fans it is ruined. The audience is now harshly turning against her with her heel casting and one person is even yelling an anti-wild bigoted remark at her. Terrible. Her face shows how hurt she is in that situation.

I'm still a little confused. Like, how much does the audience understand of FFC? Surely they're not that stupid. Like, 'ha ha yeah people are stupid' but if they know it's just a show, Adelgund should be right. Like, you don't see WWE heels getting lynched for beating up the face.

If we look at this like WWE in the same time, things like Mankind's first book and DVDs exposing the secrets of professional wrestling hadn't come out yet.

I'm not saying all fans would be as oblivious to the truth, but during this period there was a better chance of not knowing how much was real and how much was fake.

Peki's predicament is a horrible one. She stays a face and nobody sees her matches. She turns heel and everybody goes to the matches to say mean things about her. I can see this as her start of darkness, and a hint of the Cyclone Crushers, in this page alone. Wild discrimination is so large that people don't give wilds a chance of proving themselves and they only care about wild Combagals to hate on them.
