It's time for a new generation of Pokemon! The first mainline game developed for an HD console! IT'S GONNA BE-oh. No more Mega Forms or Z-Moves? Well I guess I can live with that if the new mechanics are-Oh. It's just giant...pokemon...Well even with the new mechanics being a bit underwhelming, we can still look forward to some crispy, clean and high definition visua-oh. The graphics are looking a bit samey and the pokemon are using the same models and animations as the 3DS titles with no real attempts to make things pop more? Well I can't really complain that much. After all, they made all of these models and resources in X and Y to be future proof so that all the pokemon can be in all the games without any sort of issues, right?

...........right?

So yeah, I'm gonna pick up Pokemon Platinum and Battle Revolution instead. Maybe they'll iron all of this out in time for Pokemon Gun, but I will not offer them patronage for going through the motions when this should, by all means, be THE Pokemon game to end all Pokemon games to ring in a brand new generation and dimension. Especially when Gamefreak, in their attempts at damage control, have been digging themselves in deeper and deeper.
