Somehow I have the weird idea this is like something out of an furry version of The Twilight Zone.
Like after these two part a series of events slowly turn the male there into the large feline female he's seen and maybe years later she stops at the same bus stop to see his/her past self and can't help saying something like 'Trust me honey, the next few years are going to be magical.'
