A photographer, I am not.

So, here's a picture of my first stop motion puppet from literally a few MONTHS ago. Like, uh...October was when I finished her up, I think. Or maybe Novemberish. Somewhere around there. She stands about 11 inches tall, which is huge for a stop motion puppet.

While she looks really good, Nome is supposed to be a shorter character. >_< But Voltaire made us make them huge. I had to compensate with a big head, which made animating her doing things like walking problematic. So, next time, for animation, I think I'm going to opt for a smaller puppet.

In the mean time, she makes a really neat doll and bragging piece. Heh.

Nome's ears and tail are animatable, as well her body, arms, legs, and fingers. Her head is made of baked super sculpey, so that stays the same, but her pupils are pieces of wax that can be moved, and her mouths are replaceable. (Also held on with wax.)

The biggest problem I have with her is that the wire in her damn hands keeps breaking to the point where I've gotten tired of ripping off the liquid latex and fixing it and just dealt with it as it is. And the aforementioned heavy head problem.
