The Falcon's Reach Hex Map
A hex map for the southern part of the continent of Zhonggou (otherwise known as The Falcon's Reach) from my furry D&D campaign setting. Zhonggou is a continent inspired by fantasy China and media like Kung-Fu Panda and Avatar (TLA, not James Cameron ;) ).
The current Emperor of Zhonggou is a sovereign dragon who insists that COSMIC BALANCE be upheld at all costs. To this end, the Dragon Emperor has disposed two of the existing lords of the continent and installed dragons of evil alignments as rulers to "keep the fulcrum of Zhonggou level."
The lawful evil underworld dragon, Lord Shanlong, dwells in Diyuhold in the East, while the chaotic good jackal, Lord Xantos Sicarius, rules from his seat in Falconpoint. Lord Xantos is undergoing a mid-life crisis, haunted by the brutal actions he partook in for the "glory" of his House in his youth, and is desperately trying to teach his son Xepher (
) that violence and brutality are not always the answer.
I use the Journey and Shadow mechanics from the Adventures in Middle-earth 5e books, so a color-coded map like this was required.
