Did you tell the maker about any issues you had?
Yes, but the maker never responded. I was forced to resize the head myself and still need to fix the sharp edges on the jaw at time of writing this.

HEAD

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
When first received, the head was too loose. I couldn't use the moving jaw feature without it sliding down. After contacting Faris again seeking advice to no avail, I had to consult with a more experienced suiter friend to take matters into my own hands.

Some parts of the mask is sharp, mainly the jaw tends to stab my chin and even scratched me a few times.

Breathing with the mask can be very difficult at times.

Vision is the level you would think it would be for a realistic suit with narrow front view and very poor peripheral as well as seeing below me.

Inside of mask is horrible. Resin blank was poorly trimmed.

Appearance looks good. Fur tends to shed a lot. Shaving looks even.

Wear Satisfaction

Hand paws are way too large for my hands and I sometimes struggle to put them on.

Matching arm sleeves are uncomfortable on the skin.

Hand paws look OK.

Arm sleeves stripes don't show up as boldly as on the head. I figure this has to do with the fur length.

Wear Satisfaction

Tail is lightweight and sturdy. It sways with ease. No seams visible. Only wish it could have been longer.

Everything looked okay aside from the same airbrushing issue as the armsleeves.

How well does everything fit together and match up?
Despite its shortcomings, it is a well put together suit on the outside. The inside is rather horrendous and sloppy.

The suit is difficult to wear in extended timeframes but matches my vision of her rather well.


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
Initial contact was through Furaffinity. Initial contact went splendidly but quickly nosedived.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
Response time was after initial contact was done was horrible. It was constant emailing and messaging to try and get a response, all with a bunch of excuses.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
Maker was professional with responses but their response time and constant excuses was anything but professional.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
I wasn't satisfied considering the suit was premade with the head and tail. It shouldn't have taken 5-6 months to get the suit to me when all that needed to be done was the arm sleeves and handpaws.


Are you happy with the product you received?
It was worth the price however I will never do business with this maker again due to their poor communication and management skills.


Describe your overall experience with this maker.
While Faris makes outstanding suits, I DO NOT recommend going to them for getting a suit. Their lack of communication is appalling as well as how poorly they managed information such as payments j had made and details I asked for. I was also very unhappy of the condition the box the suit arrived in. The box was poorly duct taped with my address poorly scrawled onto it; no label or anything. I was also upset that I was supposed to be given a tracking number when my suit was shipped but was never given one. I was left guessing whether or not the suit was really on the way or if it was lost in USPS limbo.
