""Alma Anzar Ruiz in some spiffy armor.

Not sure whether or not to keep this as a full change to her original outfit....unlikely, as her first get up is far simpler and easier to draw. But I like how this looks for sure.

I tried to keep it based off of the original armor as much as I could, but I did try to add more of a 'scifi' feel, and more of a brutal feel.

Anyways....

Alma, leader of the Heartbreak Pirates. Likely a highly modified varient of her Familia's armor design. The Ruiz and Diaz Familias are in a bit of a terf war in their asteroid fields. She was a participant in the said turf scuffles before meeting a certian Toledo Diaz.... Later she broke away and became an independent pirate, later forming a group, starting with a Roider's Union member, Emile Lalique. He resorted to acts of piracy after the NHI started to shut down and destroy the RU with their military power and economic manipulation. Alma had smuggled and flown before, but she needed a ship and a pilot. Emile was reliable and skilled, and had a simmilar goal of piracy. The fact that Emile is gay didn't matter to her when she picked him. That has only proven to be an annoyance later when Kijuuki joined their crew as he fled from the NHI and their experimentation program. She still has heavy ties to her Familia and the RU remnants.


The armor here itself is rather crumbersome and bulky. She is rather massive herself, and relies more on brute force. Therefore she moves sluggishly, but always with purpose and power. It fits her ideal, which is to go in with so much power that none of it will have to be used. A rather large metal armored cestus glove serves as a brute force weapon when the time comes. It can be energized and is able to resist laser swords. She uses firearms more though. She does have a shield generator mounted to the front of her chest unit. The thing sucks power up...and can't be on for very long, or take many hits. A solid physical hit to the emitter crystal will disable it though. Behind that she does have ceramic armor with a laser resistant coating. It is not perfect, but it is capable of saving one's life. Anything towards that is favorable.

Do not let her styles or actions fool you. She is smart, methodical, calculating. She is not just a dumb brute. She has escaped seemingly foolproof traps. And she is a wanted criminal for good reason....don't underestimate her. ""
