What they wear may depend on what's considered "formal" or "attractive", as well as the effects of conspicuous consumption on fashion and tradition. (There's a Middle Ages hat that was based on wrapping a spare common clothing item on your head. And modern ties evolved from mercenaries wearing neckerchiefs. Reality doesn't have to make obvious sense.)

"Shooting down a House" might be done formally or informally. There's probably (optional?) ceremonies for establishing, merging, dividing, and ending Houses, no matter how infrequently that's done.

As for the toes, if I was used to having toe claws available, I'd want footwear that keeps them available if that's practical.

Center fool is same just playing with colors/shaders as each House would have their own colors. (Figuring formal means the colors are part of their outfits and not just sashes.)

As the short sword is worn as a mark of authority in negotiations and as a weapon of choice in close quarters combat. It is up to the Raksha racial mindset whether armor is a fashion statement or a faux-pa.

Wasn't worried about the pose so much as how the outfits looked - and how much I could change them for each House.

Now the question comes what they wear a shoe that would cover their claws or would they wear sandals and still have access to their claws in a kick or a swiping motion when they use their feet / pause?

I've fallen a bit behind on my furry reading as I've been working my way through the Honor Harrington novels, so far 14 of them including four side novels, and has helped inspired me with a fair bit of world building on my own story's background. And the similarities between Chakats and Treecats in particular makes me wonder if our dear Goldfur is familiar with them as well.
