I did hear Toon Boom had impressive lip synching properties, and it looks well synched. However was this an easy test? (Still need to try this on 4.5)

Actually the title here is a bit misleading, I didnt use the programs lip sync feature to animate this. Instead I imported a quick sound clip and animated to the waves in the timeline.

You need to make his face more drawn and frowny, slack jawed to display a row of disproving bottom teeth! Though I know it's just a quick test so. XD

I HATE toonboom! >:( Thats just my opinion, i mean its alright to transfer line work in and digitise it, but you look that rugged charm when you pixlise stuff, i feel if i'm going to use digital programs, i may as well just use flash.

I've enjoyed using toon boom emmensly so far. There are a few quirks to get used to but as of yet I havent found another animation program with an interface that I can follow. Sorry about your hatred though.

I've never touched the program before. Does it offer some stuff that Flash lacks?

I honestly dont know too much about Flash. According to this; http://www.toonboomtutorials.com/20.....boom-vs-flash/ toon boom allows for parenting of images which makes grouping and keeping track of related drawings easy. On the other hand Flash offers interactivity, and toon boom has no such feature.

Parenting of images? Sounds like Object Layers to me. But regardless, I should give it a try sometime...

I dunno, I dont have experience with flash so I cant really reccomend one program over another. I will say though that I've never messed about with an animation prog. that feels as intuitive as this for me personally.
