The three other Mobians watched in slack-jawed wonder as the 6-year old rabbit girl began spurting higher right before their very eyes. Vanilla, more than anyone, was shocked almost beyond belief. Up until now, Cream's growth had been happening while she slept, or at least so slowly that they didn't notice in the daytime. Now though, for some inexplicable reason, the young girl's growth had accelerated substantially.

"And I thought you were big BEFORE!" Amy exclaimed as her 'little' sister's face climbed further and further away from her. "Keep this up and you're going to give Big a run for his money as Team Rose's power member!"

At that moment, Cream had a particularly potent growth spurt as she softly moaned with her eyes closed, her toes curling involuntarily inside her shoes as the incredible tingling sensation running through from the top of her head all the way to the tips of her toes made her react. "It feels so good Mommy." Cream managed to whisper as she finally surpassed her mother's height.

"I can see that dear." Vanilla replied as she placed a hand on her young daughter's ever-growing wrist. The experience was surreal for Vanilla. As a single mother, she worked hard to make sure Cream had the best of everything possible. Education, nutrition, safety, and love above all else. Cream was her whole world, and she hoped and prayed every night before she went to bed that Cream would grow to surpass her in every way...although, she'd pictured it in far less literal terms. She wanted Cream to turn out smarter, stronger, more beautiful, more successful, the sort of things that any mother would want for her child.

Sure, height was a possibility as well, but it wasn't something she ever pictured, and certainly not this early in Cream's life. She was still only 6 years old! She still had so much growing to do! When Cream gave another soft moan and bit her bottom lip, Vanilla's curiosity was piqued. "What does it feel like dear?"

"Like...like I'm stretching really good! You know how you stretch when you get up in the morning?"

"Yes."

"Like that...only a lot more! And everywhere at once!" She moaned once more as she grew again, now Vanilla was only eye level with Cream's muzzle. At that moment, the rabbit girl sighed in utter contentment as her body relaxed all at once. "I think I stopped growing...that felt a lot better than all the other times I grew."

"This is remarkable!" Tails exclaimed as he placed one hand on the side of his head as he processed the readings his machine gave him. "I don't know how it's possible, but it seems like Cream's body is pumping ridiculous amounts of growth hormone into itself!" The readings dropped. "Now they're going down a little, but the levels are still much higher than normal."

"So is Cream gonna have another episode like that one?" Amy asked.

"Hard to say. Without knowing what triggered it, we can only speculate." Tails replied. "By my calculations, Cream is already over 6 feet tall...and if I had to guess, I'd say she's still got more growing to do!"

"Ya hear that Cream?!" Amy exclaimed as she got on her tiptoes and grabbed Cream's hand with both of hers. "You're only getting started! I wonder how big you'll get!"

"Well however big she gets," Vanilla smiled and got on her own tiptoes, planting a soft kiss on her daughter's cheek, prompting the big little girl to close one eye as Vanilla's face got really close. "She'll always be my little girl. I'm so proud of you Creamy, you're just so special."

"You said it Vanilla!" Amy nodded her head exuberantly. Cream's not only special, she's THE MOST special in the whole world! She's gotta be setting records with all this growing!"

"I was thinking the same thing the other day." Vanilla chuckled. "You're the biggest girl in the world by now Cream, what do you think about that?"

Cream was blushing profusely from all the praise and love she was receiving. "I'm so happy, so very happy!" Cream beamed so bright she practically glowed. Her heart was full from all the attention, it made her feel special, and her new size made her feel like she could do anything. She would be able to help so many people now!

"We love you Cream." Both Amy and Vanilla suddenly blurted.

And then Tails's machine started beeping frantically. "Whoa! Cream's growth hormone levels are going off the charts! I think she's about to grow even more! And this is gonna be a big one!"
