Since I've been procrastinating to do reference sheets for the DTL/DD characters, I've decided to make batches of references lmao
This is both to show their overall appearance and also to help me establish official designs. As you may have noticed my comic characters had details of their designs change through the years. If I were to start the comics now, I'd certainly make them all look completely different tbh, especially Pietrek! His design is not in my preferences or comfort zone at all with his unnatural fur color and rather flashy colors. But these are designs I created years ago, and since I'm already too far in the comic I can't just change them. Also, I do really love them like they are!
Varvara and Pietrek are exactly the same as their original designs. I kept Hans overall markings and colors the same, but changed details to make him more consistent with his other family members. Alexander is almost exactly the same, but the base fur color slightly changed since it was a bit too yellow for me.
Overall, the designs are the same and no one will probably notice the changes, but I'm REALLY picky with my choice of colors so it took me a while to come to a conclusion.

This reference have the characters in the appearance and age of the current "present" in the story (Dirty Dishes).
OUT, my prequel mini comic, happens when Pietrek was 15/Hans was 25. A flashback in that will come in the next pages of Dirty Dishes happens when Pietrek was 8/Hans was 18. The little design changes between the ages are honestly something I love about working on this comic series!!

I'll soon do a reference sheet like this for Ulisses' family too! Since some of his family members are dead, I'll probably make only the currently alive ones in it.

So yeah, that's about it! If you've read it all thank you for your patience LMAO I'm just really passionate about these characters and I like the idea that there's at least someone out there that enjoys knowing more about them too :3c
