This is Sirrakis, the Ra'jin who became Akyr's loyal companion after he proved his worth and befriended her. Hers is a rare species, feared by many dwellers of their desert world. The Sha'jir have always revered them, holding them to be sources of ancient wisdom and power, capable of acts both great and terrifying. A young Sha'jir's coming of age involves a trek into the sands and rocky expanses, seeking out the mighty Ra'jin to prove their worth and receive the great one's blessing. It is a trip that often only the humble and resourceful survive, for the mighty ones have little tolerance for an arrogant spirit.
As a spiritual leader, Akyr's quest was all the more important. He was born more closely connected with the source of power that the Ra'jin guard, destined for both great acts and great responsibilities. Gaining the blessing of one of the great beasts was critical, to say the least.
His trek was fraught with perils and trials, and rather than wait to be found, the Ra'jin he had begun to track led him on a long journey across wastes and plains alike, until he arrived in an ancient ruin, a temple to a forgotten deity. In this sacred place, he had to prove his worth in every manner, demonstrating that he was ready to take the mantle of leadership. When he was finished the creature revealed herself, and they spoke for over a day. In the end, Akyr gained not only the blessing of the Ra'jin, but the true companionship of Sirrakis, Guardian of the Ancient Sanctuary.
Sirrakis makes for a wonderful counterpart to Akyr. She is strong and powerful, more than capable of physical fighting and often willing to do so. Wielding magic of her own, especially the scorching heat of her desert home, she mentors and guides the young mystic in hopes that he will surpass her soon. She is more prone to letting her emotions take charge, but remains subject to Akyr's commands unless it's truly necessary to take the lead herself. The pair compliment each other very well, two halves of a whole who strive to bring balance wherever it is needed.

Efsher and Wervus seem to have a special talent for creating creatures I just can't resist. This noodle is so absolutely beautiful, and as soon as I saw her I knew that she'd be the perfect buddy for my desert floof boi. =3
I love the gorgeous patterns so much, they're so creative both in coloration and in design. Her physical aspects are amazing, from the big scales and awesome horns to the long, graceful noodle body. And the six legs are always a winner for me, the more smexy paws the better~
In short, another beauty who is literally perfect in my eyes. X3
