It's an ancient Kahslanin expression, sort of like "Aloha!" or "Shalom!" or "Salaam!", meaning both Hello and Goodbye.
It's actually a contraction of the phrase Nar mir chati meschfikin aan - "May your children be well."
Here's my Kashlanin vir, Varan, welcoming you or someone else. She's wearing her favorite casual-wear robe and holding a mug of foamy henal, a type of low-alcohol beer. I'd advise against drinking any, though; it tastes foul to Terran palates, and is also toxic. Different biochemistries, you see.

1. I have no idea how much it would cost me, out of pocket, to pay for the conversion.
2. Would I have to pay the publisher, or Amazon (or both)?
3. I posted here earlier about "not forgetting mistakes that cost me money."
So how's the Twelfth of Never sound?
