Sometimes we all feel like doing random weird stuff for no reason as a sudden urge. Even jackals feel this way too. Ahlu was just stretching when he noticed a guest. Rather then going to eat them this time, he descided to derp about and give them a face they wouldn't expect! That or he's in the middle of an intense staring contest and is trying to distract the other. Either way.
