He already got what he wanted TBH, to out cookie for the set up and to show he as a weak manager, he does not really need ether girl other then tools and seems to care only if they are strong enough on their own feet.

Well, aside of the bloody and bruised head, don't forget the other methods Nyarai went through to hurt Muko, including choking her at least a couple of times.

Muko is probably glad that Adel went easy on her. Considering how large and strong Adel is, Muko wouldn't have lasted even 5 Seconds.

The fact that Shun cares more for whatever pans and goals he has for the match than the welfare of his fighters just shoes how evil he is.

Shun face say "just as planned" . He know soemthing, or he has an ace up his sleeves. This phrase sufgest that he checked every possible outcome, and put the various pawn in the right place.
On side note we see another tidbit of personality of one of the crushers. This kitten look like a second in command and with keen eye on the field. Next page will be interesting, because I think Peki will surprise us all.

So, strange. I wonder what Shun is thinking right now? His two big-star combagals have been crushed badly by Adel and he shows no concern about them. No medical help for Nyarai and he won't let Peki be rescued from the bone crushing hug from her ex-partner. He would not let his other girsl join in the action between Peki and Adel. What exactly is he going for at this point? He's not being a good manager.

By having them betray people, and then get mercilessly beaten, it kind of traps them.

Interesting theory Ikaeru and i agree tha tin part it was his plan but i can bet that is not just that.
Shun look like a very intriguing villain for this comic. And a s,art cunning one too.

Yeah, it is rather bad that Shun promised these two girls that this is their big night to shine the ring and all. Then these same two girls make their move to betray their teammates, and fight against them. And, instead of winning the match they are defeated soundly with severe injuries from Abel. Sure, Nyarai and Peki be punished for their betrayal and Nyarai managing to hurt severely a woman who used to consider the cheetah as a "best friend" and "protector".

It would be amazing if Peki were to try to stay in to further fight Adel at this point. But it does seem more and more Adel is breaking her as she had broken Nyarai's nose. The penguin may not recover and come back for more, perhaps. If Shun has another thing to dish out next against our heroes after Peki, I wonder who or what it could be?

Man, Shun is a cold and calculating jerk. I wonder what he has planned for the match. Is it another surprise arrival? Is it another thing to discredit Adel even if she wins the match? The guy is someone who is not above taking control of a match, rules be damned. Want to see what he does.

He's getting exactly what he wanted...

Discrediting a possible future combagal while simultaneously removing multiple potential threats.

Any injuries can be healed later. And the more injury the more likely they'll either create bad press or put people out of commission.

Especially if Adel develops a reputation for being a violent loose cannon.

I just want to point out that most of the fans who have read this comic from early on who are now condemning Shun were once very supportive of Shun and Nyarai. Like, seriously, credit to Gaijin for that twist. May be another one. Who knows, lol.

I admit that I was one of those people. Maybe if I have paid attention to some few more details I wouldn't have been too naive with those two characters.

Shun, isn't cheating (or at least dishonest acts) your usual methods?
