The prismatic shard floating betwixt Nemui’s tender hands gleamed with various colourful hues. An unexpected delight in a night of terror, she gazed in awe as a rainbow seemed to dance across its surface. It reflected of Nemui’s own overwhelming blues and the many other hues of the galaxy. It lit up her visage as she gazed intently within the crystal and deep within, she saw the shimmering lines of miniature constellations holding the crystal shard together; the various twinkling stars of differing sizes that glinted from inside - the stardust which had crafted the entity to begin with.
Her honey hues reflected in pools of molten amber against the glassy surface of the suspended treasure, and her expression of awe at the prismatic phenomenon. It was a reminder of the finite nature, but beautiful existence of life. In all honesty, these little discoveries were what kept Nemui so determined. In a world of trite, these little fragments of light are all that are needed to guide us onward. It truly was the little things, she resolved, giving a soft smile as she slipped the shard into her chest gem, using its’ sneaky little pocket-dimension function.
Admiration could wait, there were Dreamers to save.
