A very rough and sketchy animation of a chaser running! I did two versions of this as both practice, and to visualize the way this creature moves when it runs. I wanted it to be between a carnivoran such as a greyhound or hyena, and a horse in the way that it galloped.

Unfortunately there's still some minor twinning in the forelegs that I'd fix in the event that I polished this up into a finished animation, but overall I'm pretty happy with this animation c:
I spent many, many hours staring at slow motion footage of animals running to achieve this ;D;

For those who who aren't familiar (with any familiarity likely coming from the prevalence of this creature in my doodle dumps over on DA), this animal is called a Chaser, and it's something of hyena-horse looking alien with a savage beak on its face. They live in open grassland environments and run down prey in large cooperative packs. Their feet have three-toed hooves, and their jaws lock when they bite.
